Expose alien conspiracy in this game

Beyond Good and Evil is a premium adventure game for PC coming from developer Ubisoft. In this sci-fi action-adventure tale, players take on the role of an investigative reporter who’s out to expose the secret conspiracy the government is hiding involving aliens. They will go into different locations and even have encounters with extraterrestrials to reveal the truth.

Combining martial arts combat from games like Jade Empire with the stealth gameplay of Hitman, Beyond Good and Evil offers a unique experience to complement its narrative. Players will take on all kinds of obstacles and whatever it takes to know the truth and let the world know.

Alien conspiracy

Beyond Good and Evil takes place in a futuristic world on the planet of Hillys, constantly being invaded by aliens from across the galaxy. You play as Jade, an investigative reporter who is a member of the Rebellion and believes the government is hiding an alien conspiracy. Thus, begins a perilous mission to get to the heart of the truth and expose the hidden dealing going on behind the curtain.

You will be sneaking into different facilities to collect information and capture proof using your camera while avoiding detection from guards and other personnel. There will be instances when conflict will be unavoidable, and you will rely on your martial arts skills and dai-jo staff to fight enemies. You will come in contact with all sorts of alien creatures and you must figure out the best way to defeat them.

You can also call upon the aid of your loyal pig friend named Pey'j during fights to perform combination attacks on enemies when things are getting tough. Now, there are some things the game needs to work on to improve the experience, and the first is to address the various graphical glitches appearing throughout the gameplay. The second is the rather poor performance even on capable PCs.

Classic but glitchy

Beyond Good and Evil is a classic adventure from one of the best decades of gaming past. From its unique premise and narrative to its combat and stealth mechanics, there are plenty of things to like about this game. Hopefully, the issues mentioned above will be fixed in a future update. Nevertheless, this one is worth checking out and experiencing for yourself.

Beyond Good and Evil is a book of philosophy by Friedrich Nietzsche published in 1886. Nietzsche is famous as the godfather of existentialism, and Beyond Good and Evil goes deeper into some of the ideas in his other books. Specifically, Nietzsche questions the nature of our individual perspectives, arriving at the conclusion that philosophers had not been able to see the structure of perspectives that led to their acceptance of a traditional Christian matrix of values. Disregarding concepts like consciousness, knowledge, truth, and free will, Nietzsche instead promotes the idea of "will to power," which is the concept that all people are merely striving for the best life they can get, and all other values are subordinated to that master value. Finally, Nietzsche arrives at the conclusion that because of the nature of our individual perspectives and our "will to power," there is no universal right and wrong. Beyond Good and Evil is a good book for lovers of philosophy.
